ЗАПРОШУЄМО СТУДЕНТІВ ДО УЧАСТІ У МОЛОДІЖНОМУ ЄВРОАТЛАНТИЧНОМУ БЕЗПЕКОВОМУ ФОРУМ

Посольство Литви в Україні, яке наразі виконує функції контактного Посольства НАТО в Україні, і Одеський національний університет ім. І.І. Мечникова запрошують студентів з Одеського, Миколаївського і Херсонського регіоніввзяти участь у Молодіжному євроатлантичному безпековому форумі, який відбудеться 18-19 травня 2015 року в Одесі (запрошення ,).

 Форум буде присвячений питанням євроатлантичної безпеки і включатиме багато заходів.

День перший: студенти братимуть участь в інтерактивних дискусіях щодо зміни середовища глобальної безпеки, нових викликів у сучасному світі, теперішньої ролі НАТО, безпекової політики України та відносин НАТО - Україна.

День другий: студенти стануть діячами реальної політики у симуляції зустрічей у Північноатлантичній раді та Комісії НАТО - Україна, де вони ознайомляться з процесом прийняття рішень у НАТО.

Звертаємо Вашу увагу, що організатори Форуму сплачують витрати за харчування та проживання для студентів, які не проживають в Одесі.

Заявки на участь у Форумі приймаються до 1 травня 2015 року включно.

Вимоги до студентів - учасників Форуму:

• зацікавленість питаннями міжнародних відносин, політики безпеки;
• добре знання англійської мови;
• місце навчання: Одеський, Миколаївський та Херсонський регіони.

APPLY FOR THE EUROATLANTIC YOUTH SECURITY FORUM IN ODESSA

Embassy of Lithuania in Ukraine, currently acting as a NATO Contact Point Embassy, and Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University would like to invite students from Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions to apply for the Euroatlantic Youth Security Forum, which will be held on May 18-19, 2015 in Odessa (invitation in , in ).

The Forum will be dedicated to Euroatlantic Security and cover multiple topics related to it.

Day One: Students will take part in interactive discussions on changing global security environment, challenges that the contemporary world faces, NATO’s role in it, Ukraine’s security policy and NATO-Ukraine relations. They will have the possibility to discuss these important topics with the experts from NATO, Ukraine, Lithuania and other countries.

Day Two: Students will become real policy makers in the simulation of North Atlantic Council’s and NATO-Ukraine Commission’s meetings, where they will be familiarized with the decision making process in NATO.

Note that the organizers will cover meal costs for all the participants and accommodation expenses for students who are not resident in Odessa.

The deadline for application is May 1, 2015.

Requirements for the applicants:

- Interest in international relations, security policy;

- Good knowledge of English language;

- Place of study: Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
